Specifically, A Place of Refuge provides a two-year residential semi-independent living program for homeless young men in the foster care system.
Our young men will work to achieve the following goals:
- Education
- Employment
- Finances
- Parenting
- Healthy living
- Work place professionalism
Our young men are expected to make significant strides toward these goals while preparing for independent living. In addition the young men must learn to live with others in an appropriate manner, as well as maintain house rules and everyday care for a home.
