The Alliance for the Great Lakes has a mission to conserve and restore the world’s largest freshwater resource using policy, education and local efforts, ensuring a healthy Great Lakes and clean water for generations of people and wildlife.
The Alliance is the oldest Great Lakes organization devoted 100 percent to the lakes. Their professional staff works with scientists, policymakers, businesses, community groups and everyday citizens to protect and restore the world’s largest surface freshwater resource.
