GiveYoung.org Hosts Engage 2015

Bigger Venue. More Non-Profits. More Engagement. More Fun.

Detroit, Mich., March 1, 2015 – On March 27th, GiveYoung.org will be hosting its annual awareness event at The Westin Book Cadillac in Detroit and will be featuring three non-profit organizations the evening of the event. Those three non-profits are Forgotten Harvest, Humble Design and The Empowerment Plan.

Each season, GiveYoung.org selects multiple organizations to work with in order to fulfill its mission and provide charitable information to the younger generation. These non-profit partners are featured at the Engage event and given the opportunity to interact with hundreds of new young faces.

The evening will give the next generation a chance to interact with peers and simultaneously engage with non-profits in a way that has never been done before.

Help Forgotten Harvest pack food right in the ballroom. Discover how Humble Design transforms a child’s bedroom before your very eyes. See the swift seamstresses of The Empowerment Plan manufacture custom winter coats that convert to sleeping bags. And the sponsors get involved as well. Walk a full-blown Whole Foods Market produce department while you enjoy a cocktail and appetizers. Hang out in the Brandt Real Estate VIP Lounge and sleep off the fun with a discounted room at The Westin Book Cadillac.

Even buy a raffle ticket and have a chance at a custom Camera Jesus photo. Photographer Joe Gall will be in attendance.

Tickets are available online at GiveYoung.org/Engage and are $40 for general admission and $75 for VIP. The event has already registered 200 tickets, shooting for 350 and is sure to be a classic.

All ticket sales and dollars raised goes to GiveYoung.org and its mission. Money raised helps host the event again next year and continue the work of educating the next generation of philanthropists.
