Royal Oak, Mich., June 23, 2015 – GiveYoung.org has officially begun its efforts to expand into the Chicago area. On June 16, 2015, GiveYoung.org leadership hosted a successful private party with various local influencers in Chicago. At the event, key nonprofits were represented from the metro area. While in town, GiveYoung.org leadership also conducted on-site visits at potential event venues.
GiveYoung.org is looking to hold a secondary annual event in the city of Chicago. With the prospect of expansion into the state of Illinois in late summer 2016, GiveYoung.org will work to help educate the next generation of philanthropists in this new market.
“We are really excited to be expanding. There are so many young people in the Chicago area whom we are looking forward to educating,” said Rick Van House, co-founder and chairman of GiveYoung.org. “Our goal is to connect with young professionals and communicate the importance of giving and volunteering.”
