The Van House Foundation Walks to End Alzheimer’s

Royal Oak, Mich., [August, 24, 2012] – The Van House Foundation and a team of ten dedicated supporters will spend Saturday morning at the Detroit Zoo in support of The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s™

The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s™ is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, this inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease, the nation’s sixth-leading cause of death.

“We want to support our partner The Alzheimer’s Association in anyway we can” said Rick Van House, Founder of The Van House Foundation. “It’s our goal to connect the younger generation with ALZ but also to learn more about it ourselves”.

The Van House Foundation will hold their large education event in the spring of 2013, to promote and educate 25-40 year olds about the Alzheimer’s Association. For more information, or to make a donation please visit www.giveyoung.org.
